But That's Not Sexy

We have a tendency to over-complicate things.  None more so than achieving success in an area where we are not successful.  The same goes for fitness.  

Rarely we hear famous athletes in their prime talk about "the secret" and it passes us by.  It usually sounds something like "practice hard everyday" or "put everything you got into training for years."  

We hear it, and just as quickly, we dismiss it because it's not "sexy" enough.  It doesn't have the ring of possibility or the lure of using a simple trick as an opportunity or the bullshit list of must-have tools.  You know what I'm talking about.  The internet is full of them.  What were once semi-reputable sources have become overflowing cesspools of click bait.  

But there's still good stuff out there, even though it's not sexy.

1. Show up everyday. 2. Focus on the work.  3. Give it all you got.  

Sexy is fun.  But something truly great stands the test of time.  Be great.

The days of clickbait and workout fads are still strong, but, like us, there's a whole population out there of people who want more than that.
